Here is a date to mark in the dairy Saturday October 12th as Dundalk comes alive with Strictly Come Dancing because McATEERS & PETSAFE are presenting this wonderful night all in aid of DUNDALK DOG RESCUE.
All the volunteers are working so hard to get their new Rescue Centre built at Dromiskin so they thought putting on Strictly will give them a BIG boost to help get it built as soon as possible to make sure the many neglected dogs out there find the love & respect they deserve & then find them their forever home.
They have all their dancers selected. Thousands upon thousands showed up for the auditions & it was a pain staking task to pick out the 16 couples, as the talent around the town is so high. But they got their in the end, all be it with a few tears from some of the disappointed dancers who failed to make the final cut. A rumor is floating around that I begged & bribed some people of Clanbrassil Street to take part.
So OCTOBER 12 it is. Lots of the good folk from Clanbrassil Street taking part. It’s gonna be a great fun night & of course by coming along you will help they raise the much needed funds for DDR to get that rescue Centre built.

Tickets cost €20 & go on sale at McAteers in early September.
